Lifetime Solutions Family and Child Care Service
LifeTime Solutions, private home care affiliate of VNA Community Healthcare, doesn't shy away from offering new and unique programs to improve the quality of life of those in the greater New Haven area. And they are at it again... this time addressing the needs and concerns of parents and families with young children.

On March 1, 2011, LifeTime Solutions launched Family and Child Care, offering parents throughout the shoreline a professional, high quality choice in child care. Services range from 2 - 8 hours per day and can be bundled into packages to fit each families needs. In addition to changing diapers and caring for the children, Certified Nurses Aides can also do light cleaning, laundry and meal preparation.

"I believe we are the first private duty home care agency in Connecticut to offer this kind of customized, non-medical, in-home child care," states, Guy Tommasi, Managing Director of LifeTime Solutions. He adds, "Family and Child Care is ideal for new parents adjusting to a routine, returning to work after a birth or if they don't have family nearby and don't know who to trust with child care."

In addition to their Certified Nurses Aide training all Family and Childcare employees have completed American Red Cross training in babysitting, infant CPR, first aid, epi-pen and inhaler use. They also must meet the stringent criteria of all LifeTime Solutions employees that includes criminal background checks, drug and tuberculosis screenings.
